Patricia Thomson, PhD, JP, developed a taste for all kinds of international food during a peripatetic life after a childhood in Scotland. She has lived, worked and studied in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, involved in academia, teaching and training.
She is a magistrate and bench chairman and a member of the justices’ training and appraisals body for London. She sits on the Valuation Tribunal England which adjudicates on council tax and business rate appeals.
Patricia has degrees from Glasgow and New York universities where she completed a doctorate in American literature and she studied Japanese for six years while based in Tokyo. She loves cooking and prepares a mean chicken curry.
