David launched The Curry House website in 1996 to share his long – standing passion for curries.It was one of the first websites to focus on curries and restaurants and to publish original recipes for making restaurant – style curries at home.David has written numerous articles about curry and spices and has acted as a consultant for news media and the Open University.He has been a judge for Tommy Miah ‘s Chef Competition since 2010.
David has written two cookery books and his latest book, Quick Meals from The Curry House, gives recipes for making curries from cratch under one hour. He is currently writing a new book about how the British cooked in nineteenth century India and how they adapted local dishes to suit their own tastes.
