LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

This award recognises an individual who has contributed to the food service industry for a long period of time. They may still be active in the restaurant sector, but need not necessarily be. They will have had a profound impact on the industry.

RESTAURANT FRANCHISOR OF THE YEAR

This award recognizes the most creative, innovative and effective harnessing of marketing communications by a restaurant group to promote its products, achieve brand relevance, and engage with and grow its customer base.

DESIGN AWARD

This category recognises the stand-out restaurant design of the past twelve months, judged both operationally and aesthetically. Judges will look for innovation, both in terms of concept and roll-out.

RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY AWARD

This award recognizes a restaurant business that has harnessed innovative and creative information, engineering or equipment technologies to drive new business, improve business processes, or realize efficiencies and profits. Entries must be for project live dates no more than one year before the closing entry date.

INTERNATIONAL GROWTH AWARD

This award recognises the restaurant group that has achieved the greatest success in internationalising its portfolio of restaurants, either branded or unbranded, by any other means than a franchise system (see restaurant franchisor of the year award).

LEGEND AWARD

This award recognizes an individual responsible for a concept or concepts that have changed the face of global restaurant food service. The winner will have had a profound impact upon the industry they serve. They may have introduced an innovative new process, system or practice, or a new business model, that has revolutionised global food service. Entrants may still be active in the restaurant sector, but need not necessarily be. They will have worked in the food service industry for at least twenty years.

This award recognises an individual who has made a mark on the global food service stage, through running a portfolio of branded or nonbranded outlets.

Terms & Conditions

a. Nominators must be legal residents of the United Kingdom.

b. Nominators must be at least 18 years of age or older.

c. Employees and immediate family members of the Indian Chef Of The Year and affiliated partners are not eligible to participate.

a. Nominators may nominate their favorite restaurant or takeaway for consideration in the Indian Chef Of The Year.

b. Each nominator may submit only one nomination per restaurant.

c. Nominations must include the name and location of the restaurant or takeaway.

d. Anonymous or incomplete nominations will not be considered.

e. By submitting a nomination, nominators agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

a. The Indian Chef Of The Year reserves the right to verify the authenticity of nominations and the information provided.

b. Nominated restaurants will be evaluated by the Indian Chef Of The Year's dining inspectors based on various criteria, including but not limited to culinary quality, service, ambiance, and authenticity.

c. The final decision on whether a nominated restaurant is included in the Indian Chef Of The Year rests with the Indian Chef Of The Year and its team of experts.

a. Any personal information collected during the nomination process will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating and contacting winners.

b. Nominators' personal information will be handled in accordance with the Indian Chef Of The Year's Privacy Policy.

a. By submitting a nomination, nominators grant the Indian Chef Of The Year the right to use their name in connection with the nomination and any related promotional activities.

b. Nominators acknowledge and agree that their nominations may be used, in whole or in part, in marketing materials, press releases, social media posts, and other promotional channels.

a. The Indian Chef Of The Year and its affiliates shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the nomination process or the inclusion or exclusion of any restaurant in the guide.

b. The Indian Chef Of The Year does not guarantee that nominated restaurants will be included in the guide.

a. The Indian Chef Of The Year reserves the right to disqualify any nominator or nomination that violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.

a. The Indian Chef Of The Year reserves the right to modify or terminate the nomination process, terms and conditions, or any other aspect of the guide at any time without prior notice.

b. By participating in the nomination process, nominators acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these terms and conditions.
