LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

This award recognises an individual who has contributed to the food service industry for a long period of time. They may still be active in the restaurant sector, but need not necessarily be. They will have had a profound impact on the industry.

RESTAURANT FRANCHISOR OF THE YEAR

This award recognizes the most creative, innovative and effective harnessing of marketing communications by a restaurant group to promote its products, achieve brand relevance, and engage with and grow its customer base.

DESIGN AWARD

This category recognises the stand-out restaurant design of the past twelve months, judged both operationally and aesthetically. Judges will look for innovation, both in terms of concept and roll-out.

RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY AWARD

This award recognizes a restaurant business that has harnessed innovative and creative information, engineering or equipment technologies to drive new business, improve business processes, or realize efficiencies and profits. Entries must be for project live dates no more than one year before the closing entry date.

INTERNATIONAL GROWTH AWARD

This award recognises the restaurant group that has achieved the greatest success in internationalising its portfolio of restaurants, either branded or unbranded, by any other means than a franchise system (see restaurant franchisor of the year award).

LEGEND AWARD

This award recognizes an individual responsible for a concept or concepts that have changed the face of global restaurant food service. The winner will have had a profound impact upon the industry they serve. They may have introduced an innovative new process, system or practice, or a new business model, that has revolutionised global food service. Entrants may still be active in the restaurant sector, but need not necessarily be. They will have worked in the food service industry for at least twenty years.
